Knox County Hospital recently updated our entire laboratory with state of the art modern equipment, renovations were completed in 2017.   Our lab provides routine and emergency diagnostic services 24 hours a day.  An extensive range of diagnostic services such as hematology, serology, chemistry, special chemistry, urinalysis, immunology, microbiology and blood bank services are available. These lab services play a vital role in assisting physicians to diagnose illnesses and diseases by analyzing body tissues and fluids.

Staffed by licensed Medical Laboratory Scientists and a licensed phlebotomist/laboratory assistant.

Knox County Hospital Laboratory undergoes a stringent inspection every other year by the Department of State Health services and is CLIA certified.
