EMS

Knox County Hospital District EMS provides 911 emergency and non-emergency services to all of Knox County and surrounding area. We are certified through the Texas Department of State Health Services, at a basic life support level (BLS) with mobile intensive care unit (MICU) capabilities. We operate two fully staffed ambulances that are available 24 hours a day 365 days a year.

KCHD EMS has six full time and five part-time certified/licensed staff members

3 full-time and 2 part-time Licensed Paramedics

2 EMT-Intermediates and 4 EMT-Basics

Our EMS has certifications in Basic Life Support CPR, Advance Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advance Life Support, Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support. Our EMS also participates in emergency driving classes every two years.
